 Marburg is easily accessible, located in the heart of Hesse, about 100 km (62 miles) north of Frankfurt.
There are hourly train connections to the Frankfurt airport and by car you need approximately one hour from the airport to Marburg.
With Marburg’s central location, you will easily be able to take advantage of what other cities – Gießen, Wetzlar and Kassel, for example - in the region also have to offer in regard to culture and shopping.
We are located in the central part of Marburg, not far from the historic Altstadt (lit. old city) of Marburg.
So there are lots of opportunities for shopping and special events, and many of the Philipps University’s buildings such as the central administrative offices, the cafeteria and the university library are within easy walking distance (10 minutes).
Our school is easily accessible with public transportations. Your accomodation will be no further than a 20 minute drive from our school. From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) you`ll need approximately 10 minutes with bus lines 1,2 or 7 to the bus stop Wilhelmsplatz.
If travelling to Marburg by car, exit Highway B3a at the Marburg Mitte exit and proceed toward the city center (Richtung Innenstadt). Just after the Lahn River bridge you will come to an intersection and proceed straight through it into Universitätstrasse.
